Frizz Can Be Sneaky

Sneaky Sneaky

You pile on the anti-frizz styling products, you spend at good ten minutes or more blow-drying your hair then at least another 30 minutes styling it perfectly. Not a hair out-of-place. You spray the hard hold hairspray to lock your masterpiece in place. You step outside and feel the humid air, but you are confidant your hair will stay obedient and it does… for a while. But then there is that turning point in the middle of the day where your time-consuming style has turned into a poof and you find that ponytail holder you stashed in your purse and pull it back. What a shame…

But it doesn’t have to be a waste. Anti-frizz smoothing creams can help with this problem of frizz sneaking up. They are great to have in your makeup bag to smooth down your style. One dollop and a quick run through your hair can completely turn around the bad hair day.

TIGI Rockaholic Rock My World Stellar Smoothing Cream

I use Rockaholic Rock My World Stellar Smoothing Cream ($19). It is lightweight, but gets the job done. It even has a light hold factor so it holds the smoothness. The fragrance is a blackberry and amber mix that is long-lasting. So not only are you removing the frizz and adding shine, but you can refresh the scent of your locks.

Cheaper Quick Fix: Suave Professionals Sleek Cream works wonders as well and only costs $2.74. It contains silk protein and vitamin E and is salon proven to work as well as Matrix Sleek.Look.

Smoothing cream is now one of my new favorite things…thanks to the surprise bottle that accompanied my recent winnings! 😉 I have very oily hair (as in, I wash it every morning and by the afternoon it looks dirty again) so I was always skeptical of smoothing creams, thinking they would just add to the problem. However, when I tried the Suave smoothing cream, I was instantly hooked! It didn’t add any extra oil to my hair and actually made it look a lot healthier! I love this stuff! Thanks Caitlin 🙂
